Gianfranco Ferre

Gianfranco Ferré began his career with an education in architecture which often referenced as a freelance jewelry designer, 1969-1973, for Walter Albini, Lagerfeld, and Fiorucci. He started designing sportswear for Baila, Milan in the early 1970s and by 1978 had launched his own womenswear collection, introducing menswear by 1982. Hewas recognized for his practical yet opulent approach to beautifully tailored men's and women's suits, as well as for exceptional eveningwear.
